RE: Your hometown favorite Hamburger and Hot Dog place! Pics!

From my old home town Kennewick, WA - Zip's has the best burgers, fries, tater tots and onion rings. Their dipping sauce is a must have. Roll up your sleeves and have plenty of napkins available.

RE: Crafting on the road - ideas?

Jewelry making/beading - I only take along what I need for the project(s) I'm working on. It all fits in the media center.

RE: Quick 'B' Eats After An 'Exhausting' Drive

Can we do the the toasted bagel thing-ee in place of the crackers?...:p Toasted bagels would work nicely too. Ooh, or toasted bagel pizza. Of course then you would have to go with a cold beer with the pizza.;)

RE: Quick 'B' Eats After An 'Exhausting' Drive

I would be concerned that the exhaust fumes would taint the food. What toxins would be in the food, and the smell... We like to keep some cheese, crackers and some fresh fruit on hand. It makes a nice light meal after a long day. For a special treat we've even brought along smoked salmon and dill spread to top the crackers. A nice glass of chardonnay or sauvignon blanc to complete the meal, Yum!

Pink Fishing Vest/Lanyard...

My husband bought me a pink fishing vest that I absolutely love. I also have a mayfly lanyard that I like, but think it would be wonderful if I could find a lanyard that has pink foam and more feminine beading on it. Has anyone seen such an item? I've searched google, but can't find anything. Karen

RE: MSRP Discount

Henrye, we purchased the Roadtrek (18% off list) at John's RV Sales and Service in Lexington, SC. Here's the web address: http://www.johnsrv.com/ They have more RV's on the lot than are listed on the website. If you call ask for Chris Rawls.

RE: B Owners - What else is in your stable?

1.) 2003 Toyota Echo, great small car but very roomy inside. Excellent gas mileage, averages 38 mpg. DH drives this one to work one hour each way, saves us a lot of money. 92,000 miles on it so far. We'll drive it until it dies. 2.) 2007 Toyota Tacoma, a replacement for the Toyota Sienna used to cart the kids around. I call this my truck because the minivan was traded for it. We don't use the truck much. I take to the grocery store, and on errands. We have used it camping quite a few times. It has 10,000 miles on it. 3.) 2008 Roadtrek 190 Popular. We just purchased it last month, and haven't had a chance to use it yet. I've been in it quite a bit, but not traveled yet. Our first trip is scheduled for next month. Have a splendid day! Karen

RE: Roadtrek Brake Wiring to 7 Prong Receptacle

Thank you all. We are taking it in to the dealership this weekend to have them run the wire. I am glad they found it before we head out on our first trip. We'll be towing an Echo so we can get to those special fishing places the RT wouldn't make it to. Have a wonderful day! Karen

RE: Roadtrek Brake Wiring to 7 Prong Receptacle

Thank you Bud. I'll have my husband check to see if he can figure out where the GM frame ends. Have a splendid day! Karen

Roadtrek Brake Wiring to 7 Prong Receptacle

We recently purchased a 2008 Roadtrek 190 Popular. We took it in to have a brake controller and tow dolly installed. The mechanic told us the blue wire at the brake harness in the front is supposed to run all the way to the 7 prong receptacle at the rear. It does not. Chevy looked at the wiring diagram for us, and it is supposed to be there. Has anyone else had this problem with a new Roadtrek?
